I use a variety of software programs to process the raw images from various cameras.  Deep sky stacker is a great free program that automatically grades, calibrates, aligns and stacks images from DSLR, CMOS and CCD cameras.   For final processing after stacking I use both Pixinsight and Photoshop CC.  Both these programs stretch, reduce noise and calibrate colors in the final image.  Pixinsight can also calibrate, grade, align and stack CCD images including LRGB images from monochrome CCD cameras.  There are also a number of other software programs available for all of these processes.  It is mostly a matter of cost and personal choice when choosing the software to be used.
